Upset picks are one of the most entertaining parts of college football, and since there are so many games to choose from, chances are you can find a handful of strong underdogs on a weekly basis. In Week 10, Kirk Herbstreit and Nick Saban both identified the same upset pick, but things didn't end up working out for them. On ESPN's "College GameDay," both Herbstreit and Saban picked Arkansas to upset Ole Miss in their Week 10 matchup.
The Rebels were pretty banged up heading into this game, so it was fair to wonder whether their extensive list of injuries would hurt them. That ended up not happening, though, as Ole Miss thoroughly destroyed Arkansas, with the final score settling in at 63-31. With the result being a complete blowout, fans took to social media to taunt Herbstreit and Saban for their incorrect pick.
@KirkHerbstreit please please PLEASE never pick Arkansas again. We lose badly every time you do. I love you dude but no more.
I love watching @CollegeGameDay , but I am eager to hear what Lee Corso @KirkHerbstreit and Coach Saban have to say about the @OleMissFB and Arkansas score! Lots of respect to all three of you, but you got this one wrong. Hotty Toddy from England! Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso pick Arkansas over Ole Miss GOOD. While Ole Miss only won the first quarter 7-3, they exploded for four touchdowns in the second quarter, quickly putting this one out of reach.
The Rebels received huge outings from Jaxson Dart, who threw for 515 yards and six touchdowns, and Jordan Watkins, who hauled in eight passes for 254 yards and five scores. Upset picks are tough to make, so fans can't totally fault this duo for making the wrong pick. They will look to make a better selection in Week 11, though, or else they will likely end up taking a beating from fans on social media once again.
