Volunteers at the King George V Park have welcomed section 106 funding for improvements totalling almost £25,000. Working with Dudley Council, the Friends of Wordsley Park have identified several priorities for the park, including access to the play area and tarmac works around the MUGA. Following on from improvements previously made to the play area, the council has said it will improve access by removing a dog grid as well as installing a self-closing gate and providing a new tarmac path.

Dudley Council also plans to paint the fencing around the facility...
