On Monday the South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference, alongside with his lawyer, Kim Jong-bok, to talk about his relationships with late actors Sulli and Kim Sae-ron. This is the first time he publicly spoke about his relationship with Kim Sae-ron allegedly when she was a minor. The press conference began with an apology from the actor himself and said, “Firstly, I am sorry.
Because of me, I think so many people are suffering. And also I feel sorry that the late actor isn’t able to rest in peace. I consider myself a coward.

In 2019, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Godlmedalist, tried to contact her but couldn't contact her because of her scandal. At the press conference, Kim Soo-hyun’s lawyer revealed that the actor has filed a complaint against Kim Sae-ron’s family and Hoverlab operators, worth 12 billion won, to the Supreme Central District Court. Kim Soo Hyun broke down at the press conference and said, I am sorry for causing so much pain to many people.
