Kim Soo Hyun Under Fire Again As Another Photo With Kim Sae Ron Resurfaces

Thus, they refuted the previous claims that Soo Hyun dated Sae Ron when she was just 15 and he was 27 years old. Right after they released the statement, a new photo of the two actors surfaced on the internet. On March 14, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute did yet another livestream and revealed an unseen picture of Kim Soo Hyun with Kim Sae Ron.



In the photo, the It’s Okay to Not Be Okay actor cosily posed with Sae Ron, wearing a black hat and a jacket. His hat particularly caught the attention online. Following the release of the image as the thumbnail of the livestream video, eagle-eyed online users found out that Soo Hyun was wearing the same hat on various occasions.

According to a report by Koreaboo, the actor was pictured wearing it to various schedules from 2015 to 2017. This seemingly points to the possibility that Sae Ron’s aunt’s claims about their relationship were true and that the ones made by Soo Hyun’s agency fit in with this timeline. On Friday, March 14, Gold Medalist released an official statement refuting claims that the actor dated Sae Ron when she was a minor.

They stated that the two were in a romantic relationship between 2019 and 2020. Speaking about the viral photo, which caused the controversy, the agency mentioned that it was taken in 2020 and not in 2016. “Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated after she became an adult.

It is completely untrue that they were in a relationship when she was a minor," read a part of the statement. The agency added, “Their claims that these images date back to 2016 are baseless. The two weren’t dating at that time.

The clothes Kim Sae Ron was wearing at the time were released in June 2019 by the brand, so Garo Sero Institute’s claim that the photo was taken in 2016 when Kim Sae Ron was a minor is impossible." Gold Medalist also talked about the letters which Soo Hyun sent Sae Ron during his military service, calling them “casual" letters sent to friends. They also clarified that the phrase “I miss you" was a common expression between friends and nothing more than that.
