Kim Muley was so furious that she slapped a clipboard out of Seimone Augustus' hand , leaving the latter flabbergasted. With just over five minutes remaining in the third quarter of LSU's 107-100 win over Oklahoma, a particular sequence had the legendary head coach heated. Though the Tigers held a 67-45 lead over the Sooner, Mulkey was displeased with what she saw on the court.

Furious, she began walking toward her assistant coaches , with Augustus standing closest to the 62-year-old. In Augustus' right hand was a clipboard which presumably was used to determine specific game plans for certain matchups and so on that LSU faced. As Mulkey passed by Augustus, the former reared back and slapped the clipboard out of the latter's hand.

As the clipboard slammed to the court, all the Minnesota Lynx legend could do was look at her left hand where a clipboard used to be before Mulkey's outburst. Augustus stared at her hand while another coach went over to pick up the fallen clipboard as Mulkey then turned her attention to Bob Starkey. As Starkey walked away, the 62-year-old shouted something at his face before the two began talking to the referees.

And while LSU held a sizable lead, the Tigers soon would see that lead disappear as the game progressed. To add to Mulkey's interesting night, the head coach also was assessed a technical foul in the fourth quarter for another verbal outburst, this time contesting Flau'jae Johnson's third personal foul. Mulkey is well-known for her antics on the court, which have rubbed fans the wrong way throughout the years.

In LSU's loss to Dawn Staley and South Carolina, fans on social media were irate with how they felt Mulkey acted , calling out how the head coach frequently made her way onto the court with no repercussions. "Why the hell don’t the officials tell Mulkey to stay off the court during play?" a fan wrote on X. "Kim Mulkey was legit just standing ON the court on the side where play was happening.

.. what’s it gonna take for a player to just ram into her or a ref to give her a tech?! Another added: "Why does Kim Mulkey think it’s ok to stand on the hardwood by her bench??? She’s on the floor!!! And this LSU-SC wbb game is on another level.

.. impressive!" A fan pondered how Mulkey was able to keep up her antics, stating: "How does Mulkey not get t'd up for that s---? Running all over the court and screaming at the ref.

" In the end, LSU rode the star trio of Johnson, Mikaylah Williams and Annesah Morrow. The three stars combined for 83 points, with Williams leading the with 37 points while Johnson and Morrow pitched in 25 and 21 points, respectively. After her impressive night, Williams knew her outing was going to be different "as soon as the first" shot went in.

"I know when I hit a shot early that it's going to be a real big game for me. So just like I said earlier, just very thankful for my teammates to keep on feeding the hot hand and keep finding me at the end of the game," she told reporters after the win ..
