Kim Kardashian's latest fashion venture might not be quite so functional. The socialite decided to launch a collaboration with North Face which is known for their warm, high-quality jackets and winter gear. However, those more familiar with their extreme uses question if Kim 's partnership is worthwhile.
In fact, they even think it could be a detriment to their outdoorsy lifestyle. TikToker Dani (@danilolatravel) expressed her concerns in a video. She said: "This needs to be said about the Skims x North Face.
This is dangerous, guys," adding: "If everyone’s out there wearing neutral f------ colors, the people are gonna pass you by and that you’re a bark or think that you’re rocks or like dirt or sticks." Kardashian fans 'disgusted' by Kim's recent pics 'inspired' by Bianca Censori Kim Kardashian accused of copying Bianca Censori as she poses in thong and balaclava Kim's line was promoted in a bold Instagram post which showed off several models on a snow mountain, mimicking skiing with full gear on. Part of that gear, of course, was their snowsuits which came in a range of neutral colors ranging from a dark black to pale ran color.
The jackets were more fluffed up in nature like a traditional ski look with the pants mimicking more the style of casual leggings. Models also donned ski-style reflective glasses, pulling their jacket hoods up to obscure any defining features. Their gloves and boots were made in the same monotone colors.
A small emblem labeled the looks as a North Face and Skims collaboration. Other ski fans in Dani's comment sections agreed with her, noting that real skiers know that it won't work out well if they all were wearing those sorts of color as they reduce visibility. One wrote: "The store I work at sells neon colored ski pants, people constantly asked for more neutral options so we brought in WHITE ones.
.. fine for a casual snowy day or for warmth but don't use them as ski pants!" "Yes like as a kid I hated my bright orange ski jacket but it makes so much more sense to be super visible," said another individual.
Plus, those in Kim's comment sections were super critical, too. Some mentioned how ineffective the clothing was at keeping people warm on the slope. "Leggings and a crop jacket to ski? Yeah okay maybe only in Cali lol," wrote a fan.
Another added: "Not skiing in leggings." DAILY NEWSLETTER: Sign up here to get the latest news and updates from the Mirror US straight to your inbox with our FREE newsletter..
