Kim Kardashian was instrumental in getting New Jersey woman Dawn Jackson out of prison after she spent 25 years for fatally stabbing a man who she alleged was sexually abusing her. The reality star used her platform to advocate for Dawn’s release, which she’s been doing since 2018 after Dawn sent Kim letters about her case. According to the governor’s statement, per TMZ, Dawn is scheduled to be released from prison and start a parole supervision until March 23, 2029.
