A rave party designed for children and families is coming to Manchester this New Year’s Eve as an alternative way to mark the end of the year. Featuring DJs playing out a mix of house, garage and drum and bass, the Raver Tots event will take place at Freight Island, near Piccadilly Station , on Tuesday, December 31. Alongside music from female DJs Millz and Charlotte Devaney, there will also be a huge laser show, as well as confetti cannons, parachute games, and face painting too.
Not only that, but, for those who can’t quite crack a late night anymore, it’ll be all done and dusted before tea time. “The whole family can join in the celebrations, listen to some great music and make memories without the hassle of trying to find a babysitter!” The event is expected to sell out and tickets begin from £15 for children. Babies under 18 months do not need a ticket and can enter for free. Tickets can be bought here .
