Khloe Kardashian has offered a behind-the-scenes look at how the Kardashian-Jenner family handles their business when it comes to their Hulu reality series, The Kardashians. During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast , she addressed questions about how the show’s reported $60 million annual salary is divided and revealed which sister is the most hands-on when it comes to editing the show. Host Alex Cooper asked Khloe to answer “true” or “liar” to a series of statements.
One question asked whether all the sisters are paid equally. “You and your sisters are all paid the same amount on The Kardashians, true?” Cooper asked. “True,” Khloe replied.
She also acknowledged that the family has some say in what makes the final cut of the show. However, she said the input is limited to small changes and not major content decisions. “It’s more vanity things that we would cut.
.. but I’ve never cut anything crazy,” she explained.
Khloe then pointed to one sister in particular who takes the editing process more seriously than the rest. She then went on to reveal, “Kourtney is the pickiest," speaking of the eldest sister. “It’s more because she’ll say ‘like’ too many times, so remove this word.
..but she still says ‘like’ 500 times.
” The Kardashian-Jenners, who rose to fame with Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!, transitioned to Hulu in 2022 with their new show The Kardashians. The move came with a lucrative deal, reportedly worth around $60 million per year. Despite the big budget, fans have had mixed reactions to the latest season, which just wrapped up its sixth installment.
Highlights included Kim Kardashian reuniting with Kanye West backstage at their daughter North’s concert and sharing her unexpected love for Love Island. Khloe also had a notable moment when she was shown reconnecting with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. Still, not everyone was impressed.
Many viewers took to X to describe the season as a “snoozefest,” with some blaming the move from E! to Hulu for the show’s slower pace and more controlled presentation. But based on Khloe’s comments, the family is still calling the shots—and sharing the rewards.
