Khel Khel Mein earns 2.5 crore in fourth weekend

Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein remains strong at the box office, collecting ₹34.40 crore in four weeks despite competition from Stree 2. With Kareena Kapoor Khan’s The Buckingham Murders releasing soon, Akshay announced his new film Bhoot Bangle on his birthday and has several upcoming projects including Singham Again and Welcome to the Jungle.

Despite a string of not so successful films post the pandemic, Akshay Kumar 's latest release Khel Khel Mein is proving to be resilient. The film continues to hold strong against Stree 2 , starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao , as it heads into its fourth week. Over its three-week run, Khel Khel Mein has garnered approximately ₹31.

9 crore, and saw a decent performance during its fourth weekend. On the fourth Friday, the film earned Rs 55 lakh, with Saturday collections jumping to Rs 85 lakh- a jump of over 50 %, and on Sunday the film jumped even higher to close to Rs 1.



1 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk , thus taking the weekend total of the film to Rs 2.5 crore and overall collection of the film to Rs 34.40 crore.

The film next week sees the release of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s The Buckingham Murders making its run a little difficult. Today happens to to Akshay Kumar’s birthday, and on this occasion he announced his new film Bhoot Bangla , which will see his teaming up with Priyadarshan after a gap of 14 years. Together they have delivered films like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and many more.

Akshay will next be seen in Singham Again during Diwali. His next film was supposed to be Sky Force, aiming for October 2nd release, but it has been postponed to early next year. Beyond that, his lineup includes Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3, and The Untold Story of C.

Sankaran Nair. Additionally, reports suggest he has joined forces with Siddharth Anand for a film directed by Milan Luthria. Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz, features a stellar cast that includes Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor , Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.
