KFC launches ‘fried-chicken flavoured toothpaste’ in market, can vegetarians try it ?

KFC has launched another banger into the market. What seemed a ridiculous April Fool’s prank has appealed to chicken lovers. The all new KFC fried-chicken flavoured toothpaste introduced on April 1 is already out of stock within 48 hours.

Launched in partnership with oral care brand Hismile, it contains 11 herbs and spices.In a news release, KFC described it as, “biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC Original Recipe Chicken”. The foodchain giant also mentioned that the toothpaste leaves the teeth coated in flavour before providing a fresh and clean finish.



The company claims it to be free of fluoride.Excited over the unique collaboration, the Marketing Manager of Hismile, Koban Jonas said, “We love pushing boundaries, and what better way to do that than by bringing KFC’s legendary flavours into an everyday essential?”The KFC fried-chicken flavoured toothpaste is priced at $13 (Rs 1,123) and is available on Hismile website though stock out currently. The oral care brand will soon restock the product.

It also launched an electric toothbrush priced at Rs 5,097.Earlier, KFC had launched a limited edition perfume with a charcoal and smoky wood fragrance calling it , “No. 11 Eau de BBQ” available exclusively in UK.
