The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted an A certificate to Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday’s Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. Along with this, the Prasoon Joshi-headed cine body cleared the courtroom drama without any cuts. According to a news portal’s report, the CBFC has asked Kesari Chapter 2’s director Karan Sing Tyagi to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Animal Welfare Board for a couple of sequences.

The certificate was granted to the film on April 9. In Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar will be seen as C Sankaran Nair. It is his biopic.
R Madhavan is the antagonist, Neville McKinley. Ananya Panday plays Dilreet Kaur. The film follows the story of Sankaran, who takes a stand against British rule.
