Kesari 2 Box Office: Film shows HUGE JUMP on Saturday

On Friday, Kesari - Chapter 2 had collected Rs. 4.05 crores and that was an increase in numbers over Thursday. While it’s obvious that upwards trend had to come on Saturday as well, all eyes were on how big the day would turn out to be. After all, there has been all around appreciation for the film from all quarters and moreover this one is also a typical Saturday and Sunday movie due to its theme and upmarket presentation that’s catering to the multiplexes.Well, the film indeed grew quite well as the film ended up crossing the Rs. 7 crores mark all over again. As much as Rs. 7.20 crores came in and that’s a huge jump indeed, especially considering the fact that all other Hindi films in the running currently didn’t have as much combined collections between them. Of course, during pre-pandemic the scenario would have been different and Kesari - Chapter 2 would have been doing double the numbers, considering the quality product that it is with credible performances. However, such content films have restricted big screen appeal currently and still what this historic drama is managing so far is quite food.The Karan Johar production has now reached Rs. 57.79 crores and by the look of things, Rs. 65 crores will be comfortably crossed by the close of weekend.
