Kenneth M. Kelly OBITUARY Ken Kelly, 68, of Bethlehem Township passed away at home on Thursday, April 10, 2025 following a long hard-fought battle with cancer. Born January 7, 1957, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Jean D.
(Long) and William J. Kelly. Ken graduated from Middlesex High School in 1975, where he proudly wore number 11 on their state championship football team.
He was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame with the team in 2016 and individually in 2019. Ken graduated from Glassboro State in 1979 where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business. He had a successful sales career in business forms and advertising specialties and eventually owned, Elliott Printing Services.
Known for his great storytelling, Ken was the life of the party, always making people laugh and smile. He loved going to the beach, body surfing with his kids at the Jersey Shore, and planning family vacations. Ken was a great athlete who played football, baseball, basketball and enjoyed skiing.
One of Ken’s lifelong passions was music, he loved The Beatles and always looked forward to seeing his favorite local bands perform live. Above all, Ken was an amazing father, husband and friend to many. We will miss the ultimate organizer of events and the laughter he created.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Lynne E. Kelly; daughters, Katie D’Angelo (Chris) and Kristy Kelly; brother, William K. Kelly (Romayne); sister, Jeanne Marie Burns (Terry) and grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas and Dylan D’Angelo.
He will never be forgotten by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 11am -1pm at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St.
