“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one,” Lamar said in a statement.

Lamar, 37, is one of the most influential and critically acclaimed hip-hop artists of the last 15 years. His 2015 album “To Pimp a Butterfly” debuted atop the Billboard chart. His 2017 single “Humble” also topped the charts.
In 2018, he won a Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album “Damn,” becoming the first non-classical, non-jazz musician to win the prestigious honor. You may like: H.E.
