April is Construction & Skilled Trades Month in British Columbia and to kick off the month, the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) Builders Code 2025 announced its Champion Award Winners, which featured a Kelowna-based company. Emil Anderson Group, defined as a large company by BCCA, won an award as it was named the Recruitment, Hiring, and Retention champion. “We want to extend a special thank you to all the hard-working individuals who make BC’s construction industry the powerhouse it is,” said BCCA president Chris Atchison.
“This month, and every month, we celebrate the incredible efforts of the businesses and builders who make the development and growth of our province possible.” According to the BCCA, the winners will be recognized at various regional construction events throughout the month..
