The new KazuNori will bring the same high-quality hand rolls that have made the brand a favorite to foodies across Los Angeles and New York City. The restaurant, known for its minimalist approach to sushi, will feature a 24-seat hand roll counter where customers can enjoy fresh and expertly prepared rolls. The location is part of a larger expansion for KazuNori, which is also known for its other locations in Santa Monica, Westwood, Beverly Grove, Studio City, and Downtown Los Angeles.

Its Calabasas location is expected to cater to residents and visitors from surrounding neighborhoods, offering a sleek, modern dining experience. KazuNori is the creation of the Sushi Nozawa Group, the same team behind the popular Sugarfish chain. The brand’s dedication to sourcing top-tier ingredients and creating a simple, but elevated sushi experience has garnered a loyal following.

Since its debut, KazuNori has expanded beyond California and continues to grow as a standout in the hand roll-focused sushi dining scene. The menu at KazuNori revolves around high-quality hand rolls, with offerings like toro, yellowtail, and Santa Barbara uni as some of the standout options. The restaurant’s focus on fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and crisp seaweed makes each hand roll a delicious experience.

Complementing the hand rolls are sides like miso soup, edamame, and seasonal salads. KazuNori’s minimalist offerings showcase the flavors of each ingredient, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers.Photo: Official.
