Kawasaki KLX 230: What’s on offer The KLX230 features a rugged yet slim design reminiscent of its KLX family lineage. It features hexagonal headlights, a slim single-piece seat, a beak-like fender, and a 7.6-litre fuel tank.

Additional features include a monotone LCD with optional Bluetooth connectivity and an optional lower seat height for improved accessibility. It will be available in Kawasaki’s popular Lime Green and Battle Grey colour options. 1 hp and 18.3 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. For suspension duties, the KLX230 features 37 mm telescopic front forks offering 240 mm travel and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear with 250 mm travel.

Braking is handled by a 265 mm front disc with twin-piston calipers and a 220 mm rear disc with a single piston. Besides that, it offers switchable dual-channel ABS as a standard offering. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels and will compete against models like the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and Pro albeit at a significantly higher price point.

The KLX230 also joins the ranks of the Ninja 300 and W175 as the brand’s locally made motorcycles.
