Katie Price has been dealt a big blow amid her financial woes after the sale of Mucky Mansion fell through. The former glamour model , 46, was evicted from the £1.5million lavish home after she failed to keep up with the mortgage repayments.

The stunning nine-bedroom property looked like it was going to be quickly snapped up with the home being marked as being under offer. It was said to have been subject of a frenzied bidding war just a week after it was made available. However, it has since been listed as back on the market, leaving a new buyer needing to be found once more.

It comes as Katie owes the taxman £750,000 and has been declared bankrupt for a second time. Bailiffs had evicted the star for failing to keep up on her mortgage payments on the sprawling property. It had been left in a poor state with the grounds overgrown and the swimming pool water having turned green.

Cleaners were forced to remove piles of rubbish and abandoned cars before it could be listed for sale. It's claimed there was over 20 tonnes of waste needing clearing before making the property sellable. Estate agents handling the sale had previously warned other interested parties to get in touch.

, They said: "27/08/2024: Mortgagees in possession are now in receipt of an offer for the sum of £1,550,000 for Hydehurst Farm also known as Platts Green House, Worthing Road, Dial Post, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 8NS. "Anyone wishing to place an offer on the property should contact HJ Burt & Son, before exchange of contracts or within the next 7 days whichever is sooner." Katie previously paid £1.

35million for the property in 2014. However, she labelled it "cursed" when previously opening up on the home. Daughter Princess Andre also previously explained her own dislike of the property .

Aged 14, Princess opened up on her mum's series called Katie Price's Mucky Mansion. She said on the show: "I didn't really like this house at the start. It was a dark house.

There were just so many bad memories in it. I didn't even want to walk on the driveway." Follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
