Bernardo seemingly put the rumors to rest at last night’s ABS-CBN ball where she was asked if she is single or taken.

“I’m very happy. And yes, still single,” she told journalist Gretchen Fullido at the red-carpet interview. At the time, netizens on X also alleged that Kathryn’s mom, Min Bernardo, had followed Alcala on Instagram, fueling the dating rumors. However, the celebrity mom unfollowed the Mayor after the screenshots went viral online. Min has yet to confirm if she had indeed followed Alcala in the first place.

On the other hand, as of writing, Alcala is following Kathryn on Instagram, while the actress is yet to follow him back.
