The Princess of Wales has a plan.

Kate Middleton is gearing up for her eventual ascension to the throne, and everything is being carefully prepped and planned for the Queen Kate era. Royal commentator Afua Acheampong-Hagan tells that Kate will "likely take on more public engagements alongside William, representing the monarchy at state visits, charitable endeavors and major national events" and that she'll "play a crucial role in shaping the monarchy’s relationship with the public—at a time when discussions about the relevance of the royal family are ongoing." And while Kate will likely "grow into one of the most influential queen consorts in modern history," she's well aware that PR is a part of it.

“She’s kept her approval high by keeping things tightly controlled with minimal access and maximum polish,” PR expert Evan Nierman tells the outlet. “More recently, she’s shifted toward a softer visibility—sharing her own photos and family moments while staying out of the fray—showing she has a clear commitment to building personal connection without sacrificing composure.” Meanwhile, royal commentator Amanda Matta says Kate has been “laying the groundwork for a steady, impact-focused style of royal service” as she preps for her new title.

FYI, also recently reported that the "planning and positioning" of Prince William's eventual reign as King William V has already started, though the prospect of "King William" has courtiers worried they'll be fired. As the notes, "few would blame them, given the brutal way Queen Elizabeth’s staff were sacked upon her death, for quietly updating their LinkedIn profiles." Related Stories.
