Rolling Stone can exclusively announce that Karol G will become the first musician to be turned into a real-life Bratz doll, representing another huge moment in the Colombian singer’s career. The doll, available for pre-order on Dec.

3 , bratzifies Karol G in the rose-gold mini-dress she wore at the 2023 Latin Grammys , when she won the trophy of Album of the Year for Mañana Será Bonito . “I can’t believe I get to celebrate another huge milestone in my career with my first-ever doll—and I’m so proud it’s with Bratz, a brand I’ve always been a superfan of and grew up with!” the singer says, in a statement. “It’s surreal to think that just over a year ago, I was celebrating my first Latin Grammy win, and now I get to share a doll inspired by that very moment in my career.

” Along with the Latin Grammys look, the doll comes with a second outfit inspired by Karol’s own merch, including a tee referencing her Bichota Season album, which coincidentally won a Latin Grammy earlier this month. The doll also comes with a mini trophy and a mini-replica of Mañana Será Bonito , designed by Humberto Cruz. The Karol G x Bratz doll retails for $50.

“Karol G is a global pop sensation and a forward-thinker when it comes to her style. Her vibrant, urban wardrobe and signature colorful hairstyles are a huge part of her persona,” Jasmin Larian-Hekmat, Bratz Creative Director, says in a statement to Rolling Stone . “She’s not just the queen of reggaeton but also a style icon who embodies the Bratz aesthetic, making her a perfect partner for the brand.

” The company hinted at the Karol G collab last week, when they shared a digital Bratz rendering of Karol at this year’s awards show, accepting her trophy for Musica Urbana Album for Bichota Season . “Bratz are ‘Bichotas’ in their own way—they’re independent, bold, and powerful trendsetters who have been part of our lives since the early 2000s,” Karol adds. “This collaboration is a true labor of love and a celebration for fans across Latin America and beyond.

” Although Bratz has never worked with a musician before, the company partnered with Kylie Jenner for a line of “Kylie x Bratz” dolls last year. They also tapped Mean Girls for a limited-edition partnership to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film. “Nearly 25 years since its inception, Bratz continues to be synonymous with pop culture, setting trends and redefining what it means to stand out,” says Isaac Larian, founder and CEO of MGA Entertainment.

“We knew that our next brand collaboration had to be with a trailblazer at the forefront of fashion, self-expression and individuality, just like us.” “Both KAROL G and Bratz are cultural phenomena, inspiring a generation to embrace their boldest selves,” Larian adds..
