Ajay Devgn turned a year older today, April 2, and heartfelt wishes are pouring in from family and industry friends. To mark the occasion, Kareena Kapoor Khan also extended greetings to the actor.
Taking to Instagram, Bebo dropped a throwback monochrome picture on her stories, seemingly from the sets of their film Singham Returns and wrote, “Happy birthday Singham. Biggest hug and bigger love always." In the snapshot, the duo is seen happily posing for the camera as Ajay hugs Kareena on the film sets.
Kareena and Ajay have worked together in several films, such as Satyagrah, LOC Kargil, Yuva, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Omkaara, Singham Returns and Singham Again. The duo share a great bond. During the promotions of Singham Again, Ajay, in an interview, stated that Kareena has all the gossip of Bollywood and always keeps him informed.
He had said, “You learn a lot about the industry from Bebo. She has all the gossip in the world." On the work front, Ajay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller film titled Raid 2, which is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 1.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-series, the film also features celebs like Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in titular roles. In the film, Ajay will be seen playing the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, while Deshmukh essays the role of a corrupt politician. It is a sequel to the 2018 film Raid, which was inspired by a real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department under the Indian Revenue Service office in the 1980s.
Besides this, he also has De De Pyaar De 2 with Rakul Preet Singh and R Madhavan, Son of Sardar 2 with Mrunal Thakur as well as Dhamaal 4 with Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi in his kitty. Kareena, on the other hand, was last seen in the action drama Singham Again. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also featured Ajay, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in key roles.
She will reportedly be also seen in Meghna Gulzar’s next, tentatively titled Daayra..
