Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore has made her comeback to Bengali cinema after 14 years with the film Puratawn, which co-stars Rituparna Sengupta. Kareena Kapoor Khan has sent best wishes to her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore as she made her comeback to Bengali cinema after 14 years with the film ‘Puratawn’. The film, which also stars Rituparna Sengupta, is directed by Suman Ghosh.

Kareena shared a special video message for her mom-in-law, and said that she was, and always will be the original Bengal tigress. In her video message for Sharmila Tagore, and the team of Puratawn, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “Hi, this is Kareena Kapoor Khan, and I’d like to send my best wishes to the iconic, legendary Sharmila Tagore, my mother-in-law, who is finally returning to Bengali cinema after almost 14 years.
