While Kanye West continues to hideout in Japan, controversial streamer Kai Cenat believes the rapper will be hopping on stream. The team up would be a sign that their former feud is being smoothed over. After all, Kai insists they've been chatting every day with the rapper .

He unveiled plans to collaborate, telling his chat: “I was on the phone with Ye. Ye is ready for me to come to Japan so we gotta hurry up and do that ..

. Ye is ready for me to come out to Japan, bro. And it’s time.

He’s in a great mood, bruh. I feel like he’s in a happy mood because the album’s coming out and s**t." However, due to their tense past, Kai is worried that this is all a bit of a joke, adding: "This could probably be a big a** prank.

I don’t know.” After all, the pair's tense past makes a friendly stream feel a bit more like wishful thinking. Last year, Kanye sent Kai an oversized pair of sweatpants, prompting the content creator to give a dramatic reaction while on stream.

However, Kanye took issue with his reaction, telling Kai to “make no jokes about my clothes." He took the anger a bit further, branding Kai as an "industry plant." In fact, he claimed Kai was a pawn in a larger play against him, saying he was "controlled" and "told to diss [his] s**t.

" Luckily, the drama appeared to simmer down earlier this year when Kai declared the "beef is over, chat. The beef is over." He explained that Kanye sent him a sweet text which wished him a happy new year and calling him "family.

" About the potential meetup plans, Kai told his fans: “We’ve been talking. A very good dude. We’ve been talking, bro.

A very good motherf***ing dude. And listen, I think he’ll be open for the stream. Listen, listen, listen.

I think he’ll be open for the stream, okay. If I had to say a percentage, it’s at probably, like, 90 percent.” Kanye has been spending plenty of time in Japan in recent months as he reportedly spent over 100 days without seeing his kids, eventually being reunited when they were brought out to Asia .

In America, Kanye is currently facing a handful of lawsuits with lawyers claiming it's been difficult to contact the musician to proceed. DAILY NEWSLETTER: Sign up here to get the latest news and updates from the Mirror US straight to your inbox with our FREE newsletter..
