Sandeep Kumar, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd MD, mentioned during an interview with Time Himachal, that Kangana’s claims are untrue. He said in Hindi, “Main aapko batana chahunga ki ye satya nahi hai.

He claimed that she had received a bill of Rs 55,000 for the month of March. However, she was sent a bill of just a little over Rs 91,000 as she had yet to clear her dues from the month of January and February.

Dismissing her claims of not staying much at the Manali house, he added that the meter will only “crunch numbers” when power is consumed. “I would also like to bring it to your notice that she also received the Rs 700 subsidy in her bill in March as per the government regulations,” he concluded. Kangana Ranaut is yet to comment on the official’s statement.
