Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut spoke about songs themed on drugs, alcohol, and violence. While speaking with Agenda Aaj Tak, Ranaut was asked if she would address the issue in the Parliament. Replying to the question, she said that the public also has responsibility for the same.

During his recent concert in Hyderabad, part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, he was directed not to sing songs promoting alcohol. Dosanjh said he was a teetotaler and ready to take a pledge not to sing such songs, provided alcohol shops were shut everywhere. Also, following the controversy, Dosanjh tweaked the words of his songs Lemonade and 5 Taara during the Hyderabad show.

These songs originally mentioned ‘daaru’ and ‘theka’ in their lyrics. He did so after receiving a notice from the Telangana government ahead of the Hyderabad concert. The ‘daaru’ in Lemonade became ‘coke,’ whereas ‘theka’ in 5 Taara was replaced by ‘hotel.

’ Dosanjh also abstained from signing alcohol-themed tracks in Ahmedabad. He will next perform in Chandigarh on 14 December. Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 will conclude on 29 December in Guwahati.
