Kallyanpur Sundarban Courier Service fire doused

A fire that broke out in a store room of Sundarban Courier Service at Kallyanpur branch in the capital early Wednesday, was put under control nearly five hours of frantic efforts.Rakibul Hasan, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said the fire originated around 2:30AM in the store room.On information, four firefighting units responded to the call and extinguished the blaze around 7:22AM.The extent of the damages caused by the fire couldn't be known immediately, the fire service officer added.Employees of the courier service suspected the blaze might have originated from chemicals in the store room.TF
