‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Director Nag Ashwin Sounds Clap For Vishwak Sen, Anudeep’s New Movie ‘Funky’

Vishwak Sen who is trying to show versatility with his choice of characters and varied scripts is joining hands with blockbuster director Anudeep KV for a family entertainer titled ‘Funky.’ The film was launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on Tuesday in the presence of the cast and crew. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ director Nag Ashwin sounded the clap and director Kalyan Shankar switched on the camera.

Producer S Naga Vamsi handed over the script to the team. Nag Ashwin earlier produced KV Anudeep’s directorial ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ which was a super hit. Both the filmmakers share great equation.



Film Launched On Auspicious Day A poster of ‘Funky’ was unveiled by the team on the auspicious day of Ekadashi and Gita Jayanthi where the colourful title design is accompanied by the words ‘family entertainer.’ The poster further suggests that the film is likely to have around fun, family and laughter throughout. ‘Funky’ Features Verbal Humour The makers assure that ‘Funky’ will boast of all the ingredients one expects from an energetic collaboration between Vishwak Sen and Anudeep.

‘Funky’ featured verbal humour that Anudeep specialises in, capitalising on Vishwak’s abilities as a performer, packaging in fun and entertainment. Suresh Sarangam is on board as the cinematographer and National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli. Bheems Ceciroleo who wooed audiences with his catchy music score for ‘Tillu Square’ and delivered many chartbusters for ‘MAD’, will compose the music.

‘Funky’ is all set to go on floors early next year. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the project under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios will present the film.
