Alabama bounced back from its loss to Tennessee with a punishing 34-0 win over Missouri as the Crimson Tide avoided its first losing streak since 2007. The offense needed time to click on Saturday, and the defense provided that time as Missouri was held scoreless for the first time this season. It wasn't just limiting points but also forcing turnovers, as Alabama had three interceptions, which led to 14 points.

On Saturday, the Tigers converted just three of its 13 third-down chances. "Those are the momentum builders," DeBoer said of the third down stops. "Those are the positives that you can take from today, apply it, and everyone kind of looks at each, believes that you can go make that play and get that stop.
And so that is definitely something we can build off." Alabama will have a bye-week to continue to stack good days after it walloped No. 23 Missouri.
