" In alignment with a Supreme Court ruling, the Karnataka government has sanctioned the establishment of boards in hospitals and districts to assess and certify the ‘right to die with dignity’ for terminally ill patients. The decision follows the Supreme Court's landmark January 2023 judgment on the withdrawal or withholding of such medical interventions.
