There is great anticipation building ahead of the Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, which will take place at a sold-out FNB Stadium this Saturday, with kick off set for 15:30. Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi will be able to return to the sidelines after a two-match suspension, which comes as more good news for the Glamour Boys after a week in which the club announced three new recruits in Glody Lilepo, Tashreeq Morris and Thabo Cele. WHICH KAIZER CHIEFS PLAYERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE SOWETO DERBY? Unfortunately, Morris won’t be available immediately as he is still serving a suspension from the red card he picked up against Sekhukhune United while with SuperSport United.

Chiefs also announced that Lillepo “will only be eligible to join the team once his work permit is approved by the relevant authorities”. Cele did join his teammates in training this week, though, and so it will be very interesting to see whether he comes straight into the starting line-up. What did Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr.

have to say about these signings? On Lillepo: “We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of a player with his experience and wish him all the best. We’ll do our utmost to help him settle in quickly and look forward to seeing him in action soon.” On Cele: “It’s been a long time coming for Thabo, and we are both glad that he’s finally here.

We know his quality and we are looking forward to his contribution to the squad as we continue to build.” On Morris: “We would like to welcome Tashreeq to the Amakhosi family and look forward to his contributions in the upcoming matches. He is an experienced striker who came highly recommended by coach Nabi and his technical team after their assessment.

We wish him all the best in the Gold & Black colours while here with us.” WHAT IS YOUR SCORE PREDICTION FOR SATURDAY? Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211 .
