Anyone who watches a handful of IRL (in-real-life) streams will be pretty familiar with stream snipers. They’re typically fans of a content creator who watch and follow them using that broadcast, getting themselves involved for their own enjoyment.

The majority of these incidents are usually harmless. Some fans just want to get on camera, wave to someone they know who is watching, and have a brief interaction with their favorite streamers. Others, though, go too far.



There have been plenty of times where police have to get involved or the streamer shuts down their broadcast because of something that has gone on.
