Junior hockey: Willmar WarHawks earn a win at St. Louis

Willmar gets two goals apiece from Gabriel Adams, Mason Wanka to beat the Jr. Blues 6-3

AFFTON, MO. — The Willmar WarHawks beat the St. Louis Jr.

Blues 6-3 in an NA3HL game Friday at Affton Ice Rink. Willmar got a pair of goals apiece from Gabriel Adams and Mason Wanka. For Adams, it was his fourth and fifth goals of the season.



Adams is a forward from Bellevue, Nebraska. Wanka scored his third and fourth goals of the season. Wanka is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound forward from Rogers.

Nathan Hinze had a goal and two assists and Scott Woltman also scored for the WarHawks. Josh Mack stopped 41 of 44 shots in goal for Willmar. He’s from Detroit Lakes.

The WarHawks play the St. Louis Jr. Blues at 5 p.
