The Juilliard School has announced the finalists for the Marcus Directing Fellowship.The school announced that the finalists are McCall Cadenas, Miguel Alejandro Castillo Le Maitre, Nina Goodheart, and Emma Grimsley.The selected Fellow will study directing in opera with Stephen Wadsworth.
Wadsworth has been the James S. Marcus Faculty Fellow and director of the Artist Diploma in Opera Studies program at Juilliard since 2008. In opera, he has directed at the Metropolitan Opera in such productions as “Rodelinda,” “Iphigénie en Tauride,” and “Boris Godunov.
