March 16, 1942 - December 20, 2024 Judy Williams, 82, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 20, 2024, at her daughter's home in Stuart, Iowa. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, April 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt with a visitation beginning at 9 a.m.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DeWitt Referral Center. Judith Ann Blunck was born in Davenport, Iowa on March 16, 1942, the daughter of Lyle and Celestine "Sally" (Wieck) Blunck, of DeWitt. Judy graduated Valedictorian from St.

Joseph High School. Judy was united in marriage to Robert A. Williams on June 5, 1962, at St.

Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. The couple resided in DeWitt, where Judy was a dedicated homemaker, tending not only to her own children, but to over 40 foster children, Vietnamese refugees and several foreign exchange students as well. She also provided childcare in her home for many children over the years.

Robert preceded her in death on February 26, 2011. Judy was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt, where she served faithfully in many capacities.

Judy was a Master Gardener and enjoyed working in her yard, as well as cooking, baking and sewing. Judy was an avid reader, enjoyed collecting angels of all types, and volunteering her time to serve where needed. Surviving are her children, Mark Williams of DeWitt, Jennie (Jake) Collins of Stuart, Jon (Jane) Williams of Hampton, Illinois, and Eric (Shannon) Williams of Wilsonville, Oregon; grandchildren, Dane, Jasmine and Tevin Johnson, Alex and Bella Williams, and Hope and Ryan Williams; siblings, Gary (Mary Ellen) of Davenport, Ron (Rosemary) of Hyattsville, Maryland, Nancy (John Lohff) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Steve of Lexington, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Larry; and sister- and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dr. George William "Bill" Marmé. Arrangements are in the care of Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.
