Rs 40 crore at the domestic box office after 8 days of its release. To mark the film’s successful run at the box office, the makers recently organised a star-studded bash where several big celebs, including South star Jr NTR , marked their presence. At the success party, Jr NTR congratulated his brother-in-law, Nithin, who plays one of the leads and expressed his immense pride in him.
The Devara actor also recalled the time when Nithin first approached him to discuss his film ambitions, confessing that he was initially hesitant about his professional path. Sharing a special anecdote, the RRR actor recalled Nithin’s hesitation to talk to him after he married his sister, Lakshmi Pranathi, in 2011. Jr NTR shared that Nithin used to leave whenever he came to their house.
However, after a while, he gathered courage and expressed his desire to become an actor. Jr NTR stated, “I was always the one who tried to start conversations with him. And then, one day, all he dared to say to me was, ‘I want to be an actor.
’ I reacted with boldness: ‘You will not have my support. ‘Go figure it out on your own’." He added, “I said that, but deep down, I was concerned about how his acting career would turn out.
I still believe in giving people the full freedom to choose their own paths. I advised Nithin that no one should be in someone else’s shadow. Also, he never sought any kind of help.
And today, I couldn’t be more proud of him. His success so far can be credited to his collaboration with great directors and producers. He has a promising future ahead.
