The recently released Telugu film MAD Square has been receiving a wave of praise from both critics and audiences alike, with Jr NTR also enjoying the spotlight for his heartfelt appreciation of the film's success and his brother-in-law, Nithin, who plays one of the leading roles. At the star-studded success bash of the comedy film, which took place in Hyderabad on April 4, Jr NTR spoke fondly of Nithin and expressed immense pride in his achievements. Reflecting on Nithin’s journey into the film industry, Jr NTR shared a touching and humorous anecdote from the past.
He recalled how, after marrying Nithin’s sister in 2011, Nithin was initially too shy and nervous to even talk to him. Jr NTR added with a smile, “I got married in 2011, and at that time, Narne Nithin was just a young boy. He was usually too nervous to talk to me—if I entered the house, he would leave.
I was the one who always tried to initiate conversations with him. And then, one day, the only thing he dared to say to me was, ‘I want to be an actor.’ I responded with equal boldness, ‘You won’t have my support.
Go figure it out on your own.’” Despite his initial reservations about Nithin pursuing a career in acting, Jr NTR revealed that he respected his brother-in-law's determination. He explained, “I said that, but deep down, I was a little worried about how his acting career would turn out.
Still, I believe in giving people the freedom to follow their own paths. I told Nithin that no one should live under someone else’s shadow. But to his credit, he never asked me for help.
And today, I couldn’t be prouder of him. His journey so far has been possible because he has worked with good directors and producers. He has a bright future ahead.
