Journalist killed in Faridpur road accident

A journalist died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) while undergoing treatment at around 10:00am on Wednesday.The deceased was identified as Miran Matobbar, 45, son of Amir Matobbar, a resident of West Algi village under Bhanga upazila in Faridpur district. He was a journalist of the Daily Bangla 71.Earlier, Miron was critically injured in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an auto-rickshaw on the Nagarkandi-Algi road on Wednesday evening. He was rescued and taken to DMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning.Sub-inspector Baki of Bhanga Highway Police Station confirmed the incident.MR/MB
