Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was on the wrong side of a milestone during Sunday’s 31-10 rout over the Seattle Seahawks. Lining up in the shotgun midway through the second quarter, Allen threw a pass intended for recent trade piece Amari Cooper, only to have it intercepted by Seahawks third-year cornerback Josh Jobe, handing Seattle a prime opportunity to score in the red zone. Allen’s pick snapped a 301-pass attempt streak without an interception, the longest in Bills franchise history.

com/gr0KMPEzgI Allen, a two-time Pro Bowler, was considered one of the frontrunners for MVP behind favourite Patrick Mahomes entering the season, finishing the game with 307 all-purpose yards and a pair of passing touchdowns. On the year, Allen has thrown for over 1,500 yards and 14 touchdowns through eight games, leading the Bills to a 6-2 record to sit firmly atop the AFC East. Rookie wide receiver and second-round draft pick Keon Coleman flashed further potential, capping off a lengthy 19-play drive to snag a two-yard touchdown for Buffalo’s first score.
Fellow wideout Khalil Shakir also enjoyed a productive day, finishing with over 100 receiving yards for just the third time in his career. The Bills now look ahead to next Sunday’s game against Miami, a favourable matchup against a Dolphins side that allowed Kyler Murray to pass for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in Arizona’s thrilling 28-27 win..
