Vice President Kamala Harris and the Left are not hiding their radical agenda. They are openly attacking the values that hold the Hispanic community together: faith, family, freedom and meaningful work. Our traditions, rooted in faith and hard work, have carried us through generations of hardship, helping us build strong families and thriving communities.
However, the Left has made it clear that it will not protect these values. Instead, it seeks to dismantle them, eroding the very foundations of our lives. Kamala Harris’ recent interview with NBC is a chilling example of this assault.
She dismissed the idea of religious exemptions in her proposed federal abortion bill, making it certain that healthcare professionals will be forced to cooperate in abortions even if it violates their faith. “There will be no concessions,” Harris declared, underscoring her belief that abortion rights must override religious freedom. With these words, Harris sent a loud message to religious Americans, especially Hispanic Christians: Your faith will not be respected, and your freedom of conscience will not be protected.
This makes her not only pro-abortion but also anti-religious freedom. For the Hispanic community, this is more than a policy dispute; it is an attack on our way of life. We honor the sanctity of life and the right to exercise our faith in all areas of society, including the workplace.
But Harris and the Left would strip away these rights, forcing individuals to comply with policies that directly conflict with their beliefs. The Left prioritizes abortion and radical social agendas over the freedom to practice religion. This assault on religious liberty is only part of the broader war the Left is waging against the core values that sustain Hispanic families.
Radical ideologies are infiltrating our schools, pushing divisive narratives on children that undermine family values. Meanwhile, reckless economic policies discourage hard work and personal responsibility — two principles that have defined the Hispanic community for generations. The message is clear: the Left won’t protect our values; it aims to replace them.
The America First Agenda offers the only meaningful path forward. It prioritizes the same values we hold dear — faith, family, freedom, and meaningful work — and seeks to protect them from government overreach. Under President Donald Trump’s leadership, the America First movement focuses on economic independence, job creation, entrepreneurship, safety and security and empowering families to prosper.
This is complemented by the HOPE Agenda , a comprehensive 20-point plan designed to empower women in motherhood, adoption, foster care and fertility treatments while reducing the number of abortions and providing support in challenging situations, including mental health needs. But this is not just about resisting the Left’s harmful agenda; it’s about replacing it with policies that reflect our values and protect our way of life. Trump has pledged to defend life, religious liberty and the freedom to practice our faith.
He stands as a guardian against forces that seek to erode the moral foundations of our society. Through judicial appointments and legislative action, Trump has shown his unwavering commitment to preserving the rights of religious Americans and preventing government mandates from trampling over our beliefs. The choice before us is this: Will we allow the Left to strip away our faith, family and freedom, or will we embrace the America First Agenda and defend these values? Hispanics know that the future of our communities depends on standing firm in our beliefs and ensuring our traditions are not lost to government overreach.
We must unite under the banner of the America First movement, not only to resist these attacks but to rebuild a nation where families thrive, work is meaningful and religious liberty is protected. Our values are not negotiable, and we cannot afford to be passive as the Left continues its assault on everything we hold dear. The time to act is now.
Hispanics must embrace faith, family, freedom and meaningful work as guiding principles and ensure that our nation’s policies reflect these values. With the America First Agenda and Trump’s leadership, we can protect our future and secure a nation that honors our way of life. Together, we will defend our values for our families, children and generations to come.
