Jordan Love didn't suit up for the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 after he suffered an MCL sprain in their season-opening defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, but it ultimately didn't matter. Even without Love, the Packers managed to pick up a 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 to avoid falling to an 0-2 record right out of the gate. All eyes have been on Love, though, as he works hard on finding his way back on the field for the Packers.

He took a big step by practicing with the team in a limited capacity on Wednesday, and his comments after the session seemed to hint towards him potentially getting back under center in Week 3. #Packers QB Jordan Love was a limited participant at practice today and he told reporters, "I’m hopeful that I can get to that point where I can get in there, but we’re just going to take it day by day.” Sounds like playing against the #Titans is, at least, realistic.

Love's initial recovery timeline was expected to be in the three-to-six week range, but he could manage to get back in action in just over two weeks if he plays in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans. © Dan Powers/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Given how early into the season it still is, the Packers aren't going to rush Love back, but if he proves he's healthy enough to play, they aren't going to object to having him back in the fold. Love still has several hurdles he has to clear, but the possibility of him playing in Week 3 is real, and his injury status is one worth keeping track of over the next few days.
