Deebo Samuel and the San Francisco 49ers battled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, and the former South Carolina Gamecocks receiver's pregame outfit drew some interesting responses, to say the least. Before the game, Samuel strolled through the tunnel with a look that appeared to be inspired by actor Wesley Snipes' popular comic book character portrayal of Blade with an interesting pants twist. The fit was a mostly black ensemble, including a black leather jacket, black shorts or possibly a short skirt, and dark sunglasses, enhancing the Marvel character's look.

Samuel also donned a silver necklace, black shoes with a shiny, patent-like finish and black socks while carrying a bag at his hip. A video of Samuel gracing his new look went viral online with 2M views and counting at the time of this article. Deebo came through drippin’ 🤩 pic.

"When mom tell you go get the groceries downstairs but it’s also kinda cold out," said a second fan. "He dressed like he didn’t lose in two Super Bowls," added a third. "This is absolutely atrocious," chimed in another.

"Bro dressed for a Zoom meeting," joked a fifth. "He looking like me walking back and forth trying to decide what pants I’m about to put on for an outing," commented a sixth. © Darren Yamashita-Imagn Images With fellow wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Samuel has returned to the lead wideout role.

Prior to the game against the Bucs, Samuel hasn't necessarily lived up to his former first-team All-Pro status. The sixth-year man had recorded just 24 catches for 406 yards and one score while adding another touchdown on the ground. However, San Francisco did get some major reinforcements on offense in Tampa, as running back Christian McCaffrey made his highly-anticipated season debut after dealing with Achilles tendinitis for the first half of the season.
