Sporting a sharp blue suit, he is seen casually leaning against a counter with a cocktail in hand. Fans are buzzing about his new appearance, noting how different he looks compared to his usual style. This upcoming film marks Depp’s highly anticipated return to Hollywood following the highly publicised defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2022.
According to Variety, the movie follows a private yacht bartender, played by Madelyn Cline, who meets Depp’s character, a mysterious guest onboard. What starts as a simple encounter soon deepens, as the two become entangled with a dangerous figure, played by Penelope Cruz. Directed by Marc Webb, this marks the fourth collaboration between Depp and Cruz, who previously worked together on Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Murder on the Orient Express.
Soon after Lionsgate posted a photo of Johnny Depp from Day Drinker on social media, fans were surprised by his new look. Dressed in a suit, with blue eyes and silver hair, many people didn’t even recognise him at first. In the comments section, several users admitted they had no idea it was Depp until they read the caption, while others were simply impressed.
