John Krasinski says his newly minted title as People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive might come with a price. Speaking to People about the announcement, “The Office” actor revealed that his wife, Emily Blunt , had a hilarious reaction to him beating out some of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs for the accolade. While sharing that the “Fall Guy” star was “very excited” to see Krasinski score the coveted title, the 45-year-old confessed to the outlet that it probably won’t earn him any extra brownie points in the couple’s abode.

In fact, he joked that the honor is going to make him responsible for “more household chores.” “After this comes out, [Emily will] be like, ‘All right, that means you’re going to really earn it here at home,’” Krasinski said. But the filmmaker quipped that he’s “willing to take the cons with the pros.

” Krasinski, who admitted he thought he was “being punked” upon discovering the news, went on to tease that Blunt, with whom he shares two children, has plans to wallpaper their house with his charming new cover. “Do we have that on camera? Because that’s like a binding contract, I think,” he joked. “My children will love that, it won’t be weird at all.

” Elsewhere in the interview, Krasinski, who directed and co-starred in “Quiet Place” alongside Blunt, said there was “a lot of joy” when he shared his achievement with his wife of 14 years.
