John Goodman is on the mend after injuring his hip while filming his latest movie in England with action star Tom Cruise . The 72-year-old actor "experienced a hip injury," a representative from the set told People . The spokesperson said Goodman "received immediate medical attention that led to a brief delay in shooting to allow him time to recover.

The untitled film, directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, is being shot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.
When the accident was first reported by The Sun, the publication described the incident as causing "chaos" and "costly delays." According to Deadline, Goodman slipped while blocking a scene and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Filming was paused for two days, but sources told the outlet that Goodman's injury was "minor" and that he was expected back on set Monday.
The film’s IMDb listing describes Cruise as "the most powerful man in the world." After causing a major disaster, his character "embarks on a mission to prove that he is the savior of humanity." Jesse Plemons and Riz Ahmed have also joined the cast of the action-adventure.

The Emmy-winning actor is set to return in season four of The Righteous Gemstones, which premieres Sunday. He also has several other projects lined up, including the animated Smurfs and the dark comedy Chili Finger with Bryan Cranston and Sean Astin.
