Only three Big Ten teams have made the College Football Playoff with the four-team format. The Ohio State Buckeyes have made the most appearances, followed by the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans. Big Ten teams have some exciting matchups in Week 4.

The No. 11 USC Trojans travel to Ann Arbor to face No. 18 Michigan.

The UCLA Bruins take on the No. 16 LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. The No.

24 Illinois Fighting Illini travel to Lincoln to battle the No. 22 Nebraska Cornhuskers. On a recent episode of " The Joel Klatt Show ," Joel Klatt made some predictions for the game.

He believed Nebraska and Illinois would have a close, low-scoring game. The Illinois defense has not allowed a touchdown since its game with the Kansas Jayhawks earlier this season. It is an exciting time for both programs.

Illinois received a ranking for the first time since 2022, and Nebraska, which received its first ranking since the 2019 season, has been waiting even longer. Nebraska leads the all-time series with Illinois 14-6-1. Klatt predicted a 24-14 Nebraska win in Lincoln.

"...

I do think that this could be a low-scoring game, but again, with the emotions and everything that's going on, I think Nebraska is going to come out, maybe a trick play," Klatt said. "All that emotion early and jump on them early. I think that they get to 24 overall, and with Nebraska's defense, as loud as that environment is, I think Illinois is going to struggle offensively and only get to 14.

I've got Nebraska winning at home by 10, 24-14." Dylan Widger-Imagn Images Nebraska's last 4-0 start was in 2016, and the Fighting Illini's last 4-0 start was during the 2011 season. One of these teams will leave Week 4 with a loss.

Nebraska and Illinois face each other on Sept. 21. Kickoff is at 8 p.
