The AP Poll was updated ahead of Week 4. Teams like the Texas A&M Aggies and Illinois Fighting Illini went from unranked to the top 25. The Texas Longhorns moved to No.

1 after the Georgia Bulldogs beat the Kentucky Wildcats 13-12. Georgia moved down one spot to No. 2.

On a recent edition of " The Joel Klatt Show ," Joel Klatt was angered by another team's ranking. The Nebraska Cornhuskers moved up one spot from Week 3 to No. 22.

The Cornhuskers are 3-0 after wins over UTEP, the Colorado Buffaloes, and Northern Iowa. This caused Klatt to go on a tirade against the AP voters. He even said, "It is garbage" when discussing the updated AP Poll.

The ranking is a huge milestone for Nebraska. It is the first time that the program has made the top 25 since 2019, when the Cornhuskers entered that season ranked 24th. ".

..Nebraska is an eight-and-a-half point favorite, and I'm all here for it," Klatt said.

"The AP voters have done a complete disservice to Nebraska. The AP poll is terrible. It is garbage.

Stop looking at the AP Poll. They have no idea what they're doing." Dylan Widger-Imagn Images The Week 4 AP Poll is not the first time Klatt has had issues with the AP Poll.

Earlier this season, Klatt was furious that the Tennessee Volunteers and USC Trojans were not inside the top 10. Klatt added to his rant, discussing how voters use preconceived notions to make decisions. He argued that his rankings are better because he moves teams significantly based on how dominant or poor their play is.

He believed Nebraska's 22nd ranking was not accurate. "They move teams up and down just based on their preconceived notions and never adjust their preconceived notions," Klatt said. "Now, is mine any better? I like to think so.

Cause at least I'll adjust in a big way when I see some team really struggle and really dominate. I'll move teams quite a significant gap. Like, come on, Nebraska is far better than the No.

22 team in the country." Nebraska is familiar with the AP Poll in its history. The Cornhuskers have spent 70 weeks ranked as the No.

1 team in the country. However, the last time the program was in the top 10 was 2016. Nebraska faces Illinois on Sept.
