As the festive season approaches, many will be reaching for their favourite Jo Malone London scents to create a cosy atmosphere. The brand, renowned for its Lime Basil and Mandarin Cologne and English Pear and Freesia Cologne , has just launched its latest limited-edition fragrance. The luxury label's Fir and Artemisia Cologne is set to be the ultimate seasonal must-have, featuring top notes of artemisia, layers of fir and leather.

It creates a quintessential snug scent perfect for the chilly season, suitable for all genders. However, with a 100ml bottle priced at £124 , it's not the most wallet-friendly option. Luckily, we've found a way to get a travel-size bottle, along with another Jo Malone fragrance, for just £36.

This means each scent costs only £18, a reasonable price for the high-end beauty and fragrance brand. The Festive Cologne Duo includes Jo Malone's Fir and Artemisia Cologne and the popular Orange Bitters Cologne. Both perfumes come in 9ml bottles, which may not seem like much but should last approximately four months with regular daily use.

The Fir and Artemisia scent features top notes of aromatic artemisia, which blends bitter facets with fresh notes, balancing the sensual leather notes, reports the Manchester Evening News . The heart notes of fir combined with base notes of leather create a textured and warm depth. Jo Malone has introduced the 'Orange Bitters' fragrance, celebrated as a 'delectable winter's cocktail'.

It boasts a vibrant mix of sweet orange and mandarin, complemented by a bitter orange twist that unfolds into a warm base of sandalwood and amber. For those with a penchant for sweeter scents, the 'Ginger Biscuit Cologne' might be the perfect choice. Priced at £124 for 100ml, this perfume is likened to the aroma of 'just-baked biscuits', blending ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon with a caramel drizzle.

Enhanced with roasted hazelnuts, it's rounded off with the cosy notes of tonka bean and vanilla, creating an irresistible seasonal fragrance. The brand's delightful Christmas Cracker is also on offer, making for an ideal stocking filler at £38. This ornamental present contains a trio of miniature fragrances, including a 9ml English Pear and Freesia Cologne, a refreshing Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body and Hand Wash, and a playful Peony & Blush Suede Hand Cream.

Although the Festive Cologne Duo is a recent addition to Jo Malone's website and awaits its first review, the Orange Bitters scent has already secured an impressive average rating of 4.6 out of five from satisfied customers. One pleased buyer rated it highly, saying: "Just spritzed it on! Really pretty fragrance of oranges and detect the hint of sandalwood.

I have tried several fragrances here. All different but lovely." One customer gushed: "I love having this scent as the season changes to fall.

I got this for my husband who loves Myrrh and Tonka the most. But he likes having this in the rotation and we both use it. It's the perfect orange scent for anyone to use.

I hope they release Rose Magnolia too." Another described their experience: "I first got a deluxe sample of this perfume in my order, it was recommended as a long-lasting woody citrus scent to me and well, it hit the spot. This is a jackpot.

Wow. "I was reticent of vetiver before this perfume because I have Chanel Sycamore EDT and it smells slightly too harsh on me, which is really a far stretch because Sycamore is known as a smooth woody scent. Jo Malone was able to make vetiver even smoother while creating this refreshing, complex and impressive scent.

" They continued: "The sandalwood is pretty quiet but it does the job perfectly until the end. I usually wear Red Roses or Peony and Blush Suede, but this one is so wonderfully different from my usual selections that I can wear this non stop for days on end. I have pretty much finished my deluxe sample and I really can't wait to buy a full bottle! I'm so glad I discovered Orange Bitters.

" However, not everyone was satisfied, as a less impressed review pointed out: "This was a blind purchase. Orange Bitters was less bright and citrus and more warm and spicy sandalwood than I was expecting, but it is lovely." One customer expressed disappointment with their Jo Malone delivery, stating: "I was disappointed in the presentation, however.

It arrived very loosely packed in the cream-coloured box, and the striped bow was missing. It was a very plain-looking bottle indeed. Glad it was only a gift for myself and not for someone else.

" Meanwhile, another shopper was thrilled with their purchase, commenting: "I would best describe the scent as 'bright'. It is a lifting, tart, airy, orange scent. I love mixing this scent with a chocolate perfume that I have.

When that chocolate perfume runs out, I wish Jo Malone would make their own chocolate scent for layering." The same satisfied customer also shared a tip for making cologne last longer: "Colognes as a whole, do not seem to last as long as parfum, but if you layer it with another scent that has been mixed into an oil like coconut oil, and then rub that onto your pulse points, the coconut oil will make it last longer. "Since I cover my entire body with coconut oil when I get out of the shower, it is easy for me to mix a final bit with orange bitters, and then spread that on my neck and arms.

Ha, I discovered Jo Malone after reading that Jimin of BTS wears Jo Malone." For those hunting for a bargain on fragrance gift sets, Amazon is currently offering the Ghost Goodie Bag Gift Set at a 35 percent discount, priced at £18.29 for a limited period.
