Jo Koy on ‘crazy’ Manila traffic: ‘It’s giving me anxiety’

Jo Koy. Image: Instagram/@jokoy Jo Koy , who is currently in the Philippines, said he felt “anxious” as he went through a “crazy” bumper-to-bumper traffic in Manila while heading to an event. The Filipino-American comedian documented himself and his sister Gemma inside their vehicle in the middle of a traffic congestion, via a video on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 2.

“On our way to do press, but this Manila traffic is different,” he captioned the video. “This is giving me anxiety. I’m sorry.



I don’t know how my cousin is doing this,” he said, referring to the one driving their car. “How do you do this and not get scared?” Jo Koy also panned the camera to show the vehicles that are no longer following the road markings. “This is crazy.

Philippines, what lines? There are no street lines! If you fit, you go!” he exclaimed, chuckling. “There are 17 million people on this road right now.” Talking to his sister who was sitting beside him, he said, “Gemma, I’m having anxiety.
